Love, attraction and raw physical passion are explored
in this poetic film involving two sisters who live in a remote country
village, Amelia (Kathleen Horner) and Lai (Andrea Sadler), and a man - an
old lover, Slu (Atilla Bertalan) - who enters their lives for a week.
A lot can happen in seven days. Passions and tempers rise and fall, flare
and die, and when the time is up one of them is dead.
A man, Slu, successfully escapes from prison and returns to his old
lover, Amelia, who lives in the country with her sister, Lai. Lai is a beautiful, shy and
fragile woman to whom he becomes attracted. Despite the man's relentless advances to her,
she resists and an eerie unrequited love triangle arises.
The coveted sister escapes from his attentions into the memories, poems
and songs of her childhood. Slu, in a moment of extreme frustration, attempts to rape her
and Lai unleashes her fury.
