It’s only through personal challenges that you
can learn what you are made of. But
at what point do you give up? Just how far are you willing to go? Only you stand between yourself and greater things.
And in this challenge all you have to do is kill yourself through
consumption… So, are you ready to play? Four young people accept
the challenge: Vaughn (Jon Deitcher)
an unhappy business man with a death wish, Ethan (William
Furtado) a seminary student questioning his faith, Damon
(Michael Penning) a successful but arrogant artist, and Ash (Jasmine Roberts) a young woman with HIV. These players push their limits further than they thought
they would ever go and really find out just what they’re made of.
The beautiful and mysterious Darcy has always believed that fear is the only thing keeping each of us from better
things. Now she is going to prove it. When four strangers respond to her online posting to participate in a series of underground drinking
competitions, they are thrust into a world where the limits of human endurance are not only
tested, but broken altogether.
Damon is a successful but arrogant young artist determined to show the world he can accomplish anything he
wants. Vaughn is an unhappy office worker haunted by the memory of his father’s early death. Ash is a spirited young woman coping with a new life after having tested positive for HIV, and Ethan is a dedicated seminary student obsessed with challenging the extent of his faith. Each is drawn to Darcy’s charismatic personality as she leads them through an array of contests designed to bridge the distance between what they are and what they could be. The rules are very simple: win or die trying.
As the intensity of the
games escalates, the four are forced to discover what they are really
made of as they confront their own most daunting enemies… themselves.
Drinking Games demands that we do all the things that lie within our
power and that we dare to imagine our power to be infinite.
